Herbert L. Schuttler, 80, Retired Mortgage Vice-President, of Valley Center, died Monday, May 27, 2024 in the presence of family members. At his request, no services will be held.Herb was a watch enthusiast who loved old technology, antiques, classic cars, history, reading and his family. Preceded in death by his parents, Herbert L. and Mary Schuttler; sister, Mary Pierce. Survived by his wife of 45 years, Joan Schuttler of Valley Center; sons, Herbert L. (Katherine) Schuttler III of Bloomington, IN, Eric K. (Ashley) Schuttler of Wichita; daughter, Gail S. (Tim) Clark of Scranton, PA and many nieces and nephews.A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.
