Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
Dean and I are so glad we made it to Herman’s 100th birthday celebration last year…He was a kind gentleman. We have very fond memories of Him and Mae Bell. I have planted my first garden in many years and when I get my gardening tools out that he gave me when He left the house next door I always stroll down memory lane…We have been so blessed to know them. I have your family in my prayers.
I\’m clearly a little behind . . . but I just read of Herman\’s celebration of life scheduled in Holton this weekend. I wanted to tell you that I was happy to have met Mr. Pomperien on several occasions while visiting other friends at the same residence. He was certainly an inspiration — I would see him outside exercising nearly every day as I dropped off my children at daycare across the street. I\’m sure your family has many fond memories to share. You\’ll be in my thoughts this weekend.
Dear Gail, Judy and Janice, I read of your Dad’s death in yesterday’s Clinton Daily Democrat and want to expre my sympathy to all of you. He had a good life and lived a full life. There is noone from the Corps left here except me. Dee Detmer died in April and Virginia Walsten a couple years ago. I have many fond memories of your parents and of all of you too. Time goes on. Lovingly, Donna Owens (LeRoy)
Dear Janice, Judy and Gail I was so sorry to hear of your father’s death. He was truly a wonderful man, one that I smile when thinking of him. A beautiful and a kind man. I know you will miss him…Please send me your address Janice.
Dear Jan and family: Our sincere sympathy is extended to you at this sad time. You were so good to your father, and I wanted you to know we have been thinking of you. Bob & Edna Brock
