Hugh Shearer, Sr. 89, Aeronautical Engineer, died Friday, April 20, 2018. Memorial Service will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Central Christian Church Chapel. Preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ada Shearer; parents, Carey Shearer and Vera Smith; brother, Charles Shearer. Survived by his son, Gray Shearer of Atlanta, GA; daughters, Michelle (John) Hayworth of Derby, KS, Dana (David) Burre of Roswell, GA, Andrea (Alex) Cavgalar of Wichita, KS; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with Alzheimers Association, Central & Western Kansas 1820 E. Douglas Ave., Wichita, KS, 67214. Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.
