Huyen T. Nguyen

Huyen T. Nguyen, 72, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2025. A rosary will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. The funeral mass will take place the following day at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025 at All Saints Catholic Church.

Huyen was born November 10, 1952 in Vietnam, the daughter of Tham Hum Nguyen and Cong Thi Cao.

Upon arriving in the United States in the late 70s, Huyen made her way to Wichita, KS where she displayed a strong work ethic taught by her parents and parlayed that into a long successful career as an engineer with Boeing while running a successful real estate business.

Outside of work, Huyen dedicated her life to the church, family, and giving back to the Vietnamese community.

After retirement, Huyen’s passion became traveling where she was able to see the world beyond Vietnam and the United States. Throughout all of this, Huyen always held family above all else as the most important to her; instilling a strong work ethic and passion for education into her four boys and later welcoming five beloved grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Eddy (Megan), John, Michael (Vicky), and Brian (Kayla); grandchildren, Bella, Brayden, Landon, Addie, and Emery.

Huyen’s life was a testament to love, loyalty, and resilience. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
