Ullum, Ima Jean, 85, homemaker, died August 4, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Max Ullum, and daughter, Carol Jean Ullum. Survivors: son, Lee Max Ullum and wife, Renee; sisters, Annabelle Long and Glenda King; brothers, Allen Hague and Doug and Roger Vandervort. Ima loved animals, gardening, bridge and most of all her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation with the family, 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, August 9; Service, 4 p.m., Wednesday, August 10, both at Downing Lahey West. Memorials established with Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. I was saddened to hear of Jean’s passing. I will remember how much she loved her son. My fondest memories of Jean are listening to her in the kitchen as she hummed while she baked and cooked for her family. I also remember how much she loved decorating for Christmas and the Christmas tree that played music over and over again. My thoughts and prayers are with Max and Renee.
