Ira Lee Rakestraw

Ira Lee Rakestraw, 65, beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, brother and uncle, passed into the Lord’s arms on January 27, 2017. Ira was an Aviation Change Analyst for The Boeing Company and Spirit AeroSystems for over 30 years. A Celebration of Life will take place at The Monarch, 579 W. Douglas Avenue, 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, January 31. Memorial Service, 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 1, Reformation Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by parents, Harris and Elwanda Rakestraw. Survivors, wife, Rhea “Joni”; son, Dallas (Dulcinea) Rakestraw; daughter, Ashley (Daniel) Hall; brothers, Harris (Ethelene), Ken (Barb (Deceased)), Matt (Kathi), Jeff (Mary) and Seth; grandchildren, Thatcher, Brynn and Emerson Rakestraw; and many other family and friends.
