Irene Ficarra

Irene Ficarra, 97, Retired Church and Legal Secretary, passed Sunday, September 3, 2017. Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Monday, September 11, 2017, at Fairmount United Church of Christ. Funeral Service will follow 11:00 am. Irene was born to James Evans (of Monroe County, MO) and Minnie Collins Evans (of England) on July 5, 1920; both precede her in death. Also preceded in death by her husband, Pasquale “Pat” Ficarra. Survived by her daughter, Susan (Dan) Howell of Haverhill, MA; sons, John Ficarra of Wichita, KS, Michael (Lorraine) Ficarra of Rowlett, TX; grandchildren, Tony Ficarra, Angie Ficarra, both of Wichita, KS, Melissa (Tim) Alipalo of Springvale, ME, Ryan (Wendy) Howell of Sanford, ME; 11 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with: Fairmount Church of Christ, 1650 N. Fairmount, Wichita, KS 67208 or the Special Music Fund at the church (Pat Ficarra Memorial).
