Iris Brazill

Brazill, Iris Edra (Kennedy), 84, retired homemaker, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2005. Services 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 20, 2005 at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Iris was born February 26, 1921 in Guymon, Oklahoma, to Ira and Elizabeth Kennedy. Her family moved to Byers, Kansas, where she was raised. She graduated from Pratt High School in 1938 and moved to Wichita where she held various jobs. Iris had been a volunteer at the Arthritis Foundation in later years. Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Elizabeth Parmley; nephew, Johnny Stegman and her beloved Bill Brazill. Survivors: daughter and husband, Sherri and Bud Dixon of Surprise, AZ; daughter and husband, Linda and Steve Reyes of Wichita; grandchildren, Steve Reyes II, Shelley Reyes and fianc Wayne Bellamy, Brian Reyes and Jon Reyes, all of Wichita; great-grandchildren, Jaleesa Dennis, Jared Bellamy, Jordan Reyes and Casey Bellamy; niece, Janis Penn of Dallas, Texas; nephew, C.C. Parmley II of Baldwin City, KS. Memorials have been established with the Arthritis Foundation, 1602 E. Waterman, Wichita, KS, 67211 and Hospice Care of Kansas 3241 E. Victor, Wichita, KS, 67208.
