Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
As friends of Joshua and Laura Leonard, we never had the pleasure of meeting Isabelle Connelly but we have heard such wonderful things about her. She will be very missed by all of her family and she truly sounds like an amazing woman! You are all in our prayers and thoughts.
To relatives of Bee & Betty Dawson, I was tree chair for Project Beauty. I first met Bee and Betty when they helped me with Arbor Day. They were a joy to work with and to have on our team. Bee always had a smile on her face. She would tell me about having the children come to her house on Halloween and the parents could have a night off. She enjoyed the whole event, I could tell. I saw Bee at the last Project Beauty meeting and I told her she looked so pretty to be 90. I hope I looked that good at 90. Bee and Betty were a joy to know and we will truly miss them both. We will keep the family in our thoughts and prayers. May God be with you all. Carol Graham
Although I did not know Isabelle ‘Bee’ Mary Connelly personally, I did know her son Kevin, and in knowing his wonderful dedication, hard work and high morals, I feel that I knew the best of her. I think one of the greatest legacies you can leave the earth is another generation that carries on the best of you. And she definitely did that. After reading her obituary I feel regret for not having met her. I had no idea how much she did for the community, and am so grateful for all the time she spent making Wichita a better place. Her son obviously carries on that trait as well for he gives hours and hours of his time to make the River Festival one of the greatest events of the year. (Another of her wonderful traits that lives on) Thank you for leaving the world a better place because you were in it. That’s something we all should aspire to!
As Laura Leonard’s mother-in-law, when I was first met Bee, I immediately sensed that she had a special aura surrounding her. Such a beautiful and gracious lady, refined and a delight for me to meet. My life has been enriched by the few times I was able to share with her . I can only imagine what a rich, endearing family life all of you shared with her as your revered matriarch. My prayers are with you all, Martha
