J. Harold Ashton

Ashton, J. Harold, 87, wonderful husband and father, retired Boeing tooling supervisor, died Monday, December 26, 2005. A celebration of his life will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 30 at Hillside Christian Church. Graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. Harold was an avid water skier, enjoyed golf and was a life-long entrepreneur. Survivors: wife, Pauline; daughters, Jody Anderson (Carl) of Charlotte, NC and Dixie Bridges (Bruce) of Wichita. Memorials have been established with Hospice Care of Kansas, 3241 E. Victor, Wichita, KS, 67208 and Hillside Christian Church, 8330 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67206. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
