Jack D. Osment

Osment, Jack D., 76, died Sunday, September 17, 2006. No services are planned. Jack was born in Wichita, July 8, 1930. He graduated from East High School in 1948 and attended Wichita University and Phillips University. Jack graduated from Tulsa University after serving in the U.S. Army in the 10th infantry division. He was a banker in Tulsa, worked for Cessna and Beechcraft and was a commercial pilot and airplane salesman in Albuquerque, NM. Jack was a real estate broker in Santa Fe, NM. He became a lobbyist for the New Mexico petroleum industry. As an avid horseman, he worked for several western movies as an extra in New Mexico before moving to Colorado Springs, in 1994. Jack was a sailing and skiing enthusiast and was a life-time member of The Over The Hill Gang and The 10th Mountain Division. He is survived by his brother, Jim and sister-in-law, Jerry Osment of Wichita; daughters, Susan Weiss of Anchorage, AK and Kimberly Osment of Nashville, TN; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
