Jack Douglas Stein

Jack Douglas Stein, 74, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 30, 2017. Jack was an avid golfer, a Boeing employee for more than 30 years, a graduate of Wichita State University and Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a Vietnam veteran. Preceding Jack in death were a son, Mark; sister, Sally; and parents, Sylvester "Jack" and Flo. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Vickie; his son, Jeff (Meg); grandsons, Beckett and Quentin; and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews. Jack was supported during his illness by, in addition to those above, many of those who held him dear, including Valerie, his nephew, Fidel (Sarah), and many other friends. A rosary service will be on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 7:00 p.m., Downing and Lahey East Mortuary, 6555 E. Central, Wichita, KS 67206. A funeral service will be on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., All Saints Catholic Church, 3205 E. Grand St., Wichita, KS 67218.
