Guestbook

  1. Megan this is old Mr. VOSSEN. I always enjoyed visiting with your dad. He became so excited when he talked about you and your kids. I’m sorry for your loss. Love you.

    • Oh, Mr. Vossen, SO good to hear from you! My dad always thought so highly of you. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment, it truly means a lot to me. I hope you’re doing well! I have such fond memories of CKS and the amazing teachers I had.

  2. Tim, so sorry to read of your Dad’s passing. He and your Mother were good neighbors to my Mom and Dad, Don and Rosemary Saunders. Steve Saunders.

  3. What an incredible Man! I met Jack last fall thru the sale of a home. His humor, quick wit and sharpness would rival any 40 year old. His work ethic was incredible and his stories over lunch at Cholita’s were legendary. I am glad I was able to meet Jack last year, he will be missed. Thoughts and prayers going out to his family Greg Robson

  4. I first met Jack in 1948 when my folks bought a .farm near St George. Jack and I attended grade school and high school together until we graduated in 1957. Then we attended Kansas State together. He was a quiet, good friend with a quick, happy face. Looking in our senior year high school year book, I see his curly hair which made the girls look twice. Don Gish

    • Don, I don’t know anyone else who knew my dad during those years of his life, so it’s very special to hear from you. I found a photo my dad had taken of the class of 57 and you’re pictured in the row below him. Y’all were both handsome men! Thank you for leaving a comment. My dad was so special to me and I’ll miss him immensely.

  5. Dear Tim, Link, Collin and Vada, so sorry to hear of Jack’s passing. We loved him and are sorry for you and your family. Aunt Joy and Uncle Vern

  6. We were surprised and saddened when we heard of Jack’s death. Somehow, I guess we felt like he would live forever. He was so full of life, with opinions to match. He was a gift to us and our future. When we approached him about selling the business, he was so generous to share his knowledge and energy. We still conduct the services to clients much as he set them up and it is not unusual to have board members and administrators ask about him. Much of the “old guard” is moving on to retirement and we continue to expand and try to handle the challenges as they come along. Our best wishes to you and your family as you move through this change in your life. Gilbert and Beverly Benton, Cimarron, Kansas.
