Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Kathy, Kay, John and Jeff I am Bill Ellison, Carl and Wilma Ellison youngest son. I havent seen any of you for many years but as kids our two families spent a lot of time together. My dad and your dad were friends when they were single and came to Wichita together, and as married guys they liked their families to go to lake and enjoy fishing, skiing and just having fun. I am very sorry to hear about your dad\’s passing. He was a very special person and he will be missed. As you know my dad past away over 10 years ago and I think of him every day. Always cherish the good times, and keep happy thoughts about the times when you were growing up and your mom and dad will be for ever with you. I was in Denver this week and greatly sorry I missed the service.

  2. May it comfort you to know that death cannot diminish the important ways your father touched your life, that grief cannot take away the good times your shared, that sorrow will fade in time…but memories remain forever. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

  3. With oure deepest sympathy. Cherish those special memories that will forever stay in your heart. I often think of your dad due to my mother suffering with the same disease. Though they lost their memory we wil remember for them.

  4. I am so sorry to hear of your father’s passing and your mother’s. They were so kind to us when we were kids and we would come over. They were very welcoming and friendly.

  5. I knew Jack Orr when he and Nita lived behind me, and I baby sat for the girls and for John. he was kind and just a really nice person always smiled and talked to me. My Mother worked long hours and their home was always open to me. I am so very sorry for your loss. Last Summer I found out that Kay’s inlaws live across the street from me.My thoughts are with you all at this time.

  6. John and Family, So sorry to hear about your Dad’s passing. I also had not heard about your Mom’s previous passing. I have wonderful memories of playing at your house which always seemed welcoming thanks in part to the presence of your Mom and her cooking, and your Dad’s quiet strength and sense of humour. I always looked forward to your Mom’s popcorn balls at Halloween too. Anyway, thinking of you at this time, your friend, Clay Oliver
