Jacqueline Jackie Schenk

Jacqueline “Jackie” Schenk 64 of Edwardsville, KS, formerly of Wichita, passed peacefully into the arms of her Heavenly Father on May 14, 2016. Jackies life was filled with many challengesa beloved sister that will be missed, but is now at peace. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph (Jeff) and Ida Schenk and brothers, Robert and James Schenk; survivors include sisters, Carolyn Laughlin, Marylou Cooke, Joanne (Larry) Ehrlich, Virginia Black, all of Wichita, and Teresa (Mike) Green, Tucson, AZ; brothers, John (Irene) Schenk and Phil (Vicky) Schenk of Wichita; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 18 at Downing & Lahey-East Chapel. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, May 19 at Blessed Sacrament Church followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials have been established with Church of the Blessed Sacrament Endowment Fund and Kansas Humane Society.
