Preceded in death by his father, James Malay; mother, Ellen Neel. Survived by his wife, Sheila Malay; daughters, Kate (Blake) Van Vleck of Kansas City, MO, Sarah (Edwin) Berry of Alamogordo, NM; son, Philip J. Malay of San Antonio, TX; sister, Cat Fisher of Manhattan, NY; brother, Bob (Nadine) Malay of Park City, KS; grandchildren, Brylie Bussing, Edwin Berry, and one on the way.
