James B. "Jimmy" Schlegel, 81, "Wichita Lineman", died Tuesday, January 31, 2017. Born November 21, 1935 in Allentown, PA. Jimmy served in the United States Army and worked for Southwestern Bell for 25 years. Celebration of Life Service, 1:30 p.m., Saturday, February 4, at Downing & Lahey West. Preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Sandra. Survivors: children, Brad Schlegel (Connie) and Kathy Deane (Dan); grandchildren, Rebecca Schlegel (Josh) and Erin Konecny (Ron), Alex and Allison Deane; 5 great-grandchildren; longtime companion, Nancy Moss.
