James E. Richmond

Richmond, James E., 91, retired purchasing manager for the City of Wichita, died Sunday, July 13, 2008. Memorial service 3:00 P.M., Saturday, July 19, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Jim loved spending time at Fall River Lake. He served as a Seaman 2nd Class in the US Coast Guard. He was preceded in death by parents, Elmer and Edwina Richmond, first wife, Norma, second wife, Mary, and brother, Eulile. Survivors: son, Michael Richmond (Cathy) of Fairway, KS; sister, Wanda Gile (Chet) of Wichita; granddaughter, Annie Richmond; cousins, Anna Seaton and Gene Miller, both of Wichita. A memorial has been established with the Salvation Army, 350 N. Market, Wichita, KS, 67202.
