Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
Patty & Jana, I worked for your Dad at Marsh Mac back in the 80’s. He was a great boss but a greater person. He was always in a good mood and ready for a laugh! I loved hearing his B17 stories. He would say: ‘You know what a blackout is? Well over Germany with anti aircraft guns firing at us…we had a brown out…if you know what I mean!!’ I lost my Dad eight years ago this April. There isnt a day that goes by that I dont think of him or wish I could ask him a question. I know that everyone is probably telling you that your hurt will heal with time. It will. It wont go away, and it shouldnt, but you will get to the point where it, (him not being there), just becomes a part of your life. When I think of Dad nowusually it is with a smile on my face. You will get to this point with the loss of your Dad. Look around you and see your wonderful family and just know that it all started with Jim and Joan. What an indescribable blessing. Death may have ended your fathers life, but it has not canceled it. he will always be your Dad, and you will always be his girls. He will always be a part of who you are, and the relationship you have with him will go on forever.
Jana and Patty, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Mark Omaha
Jana… I know this will be a most difficult time. I know that with the help of your family and friends you, and your family, will be able to celebrate the life of your father. My thoughts are with you over the next few days. Surround yourself with friends and family and keep the best memories of your dad forever! All my best… Alex
I did not know Jim well; I knew him only through a mutual friend, Eldon Addy. What I did know of him, however, was that he had a wonderful sense of humor, a warm and outgoing personality, and loved his family very much. I know you will miss him. Please accept my sympathy at this sad time.
Patty & Jana: I was so sorry to hear about your dad. May he rest in peace. My love to you and your families. Take care.
