Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Jim was great to work with. We were working together on a project to improve the finance function, before Hawker Beechcraft was recently spunoff. Jim really wanted to have the company wide worskhop in Las Vegas, so we went along. One evening, while Jim was relaxing at the Blackjack table, I engaged him in a complex discussion about the workshops, while he was playing two hands. It was a very meaty discussion, and Jim kept on calmly playing his two hands. At the end of our 30 minute discussion, Jim decided he would also cash in. He walked away with a few thousand dollars from our half hour discussion. Jim had an incredible ability to deal with a multitude of complex issues at the same time. In the work that I did with him, he always stood for ‘what’s the right thing to do,’ or ‘what can we do better.’ He is missed by those who had the opportunity to work with him.

  2. We were very sorry to hear of Jim’s death. Thank you for the call. Our prayers are with you in this difficult time. We will always remember Jim for his sense of humor and his winning smile, as well as for his skill as a beginning pilot.

  3. My symphathy goes out to family and friends of Jim, in his very sudden death. May you remeber all the experiences and associations you had with him, and keep him in your heart forever. Death is a living experience and you now have the past to keep his memory alive. I enjoyed knowing Jim at TCU and he was a great fraternity brother. God bless Jim Sanders and God bless you. K. Kyle Brandon Delta Tau Delta and TCU alumni

  4. Our prayers are with you at this time. Jim was my husband, Steve’s ‘boss’ at HB. They were just beginning to get to know one another, but the loss is very evident. Our hope is in Christ, though and we have confidence of seeing Jim again one day. ‘The Lord is close to the brokenhearted . . . ‘ Psalm 34:18a
