James Patrick Pat Brokschmidt

James Patrick “Pat” Brokschmidt, 69, served in the Army during the Vietnam war and deeply loved God, his country, and family. Pat peacefully slipped away and into heaven on Saturday, October 29, 2016, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Pat is survived by Vivicia “Viv,” his beloved wife of 39 years; daughter, Stephanie Brokschmidt; son, Patrick Ryan (Jackie) Brokschmidt; grandchildren, Justin, Jessica, and Jaxson Reynolds, Brooklyn, Brayden, and Braxton Brokschmidt. Pat is also survived by brothers, Mike (Kay) Brokschmidt, Tim (Carol) Tamplin, Tom (Susan) Tamplin, Jim (Vanessa) Tamplin, Bob (Debbie) Brokschmidt; sisters, Darlene (Bobby) Bean, Vickie (Jerry) Razor; sister-in-law, Christina Brokschmidt. Pat was preceded in death by parents, Bill and Rose Brokschmidt; brothers, Eugene Brokschmidt, Bill Brokschmidt; sister, Irene “Tina” Minnick. Pat was loved and will also be missed by many nephews and nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces, and good friends.
