James Robert “Bob” Mann

Mann, James Robert “Bob”, 71, retired purchasing manager / employee of Airtechnics, Inc. for 40 years, died at home on Monday, July 12, 2010 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. A memorial service is pending. Bob was born on June 15, 1939 in Ft. Scott, KS. He served aboard the USS Boxer as a BT3. Bob is preceded in death by father, Harvey, mother, Marie (Fitzmorris) and granddaughter, Nicole Elizabeth Pomeroy. He is survived by brother, Harvelee of Wichita, KS; sister, Joella Marshall of San Clemente, CA; 3 nieces; 1 nephew; wife, Carolyn (Metcalf) of Wichita; sons, Tim (Deanna) and their children, Nicholas and Cameron of Garden City, KS, Jim (Kim) and their children, Keaton, Daly and Karlyn of Palm Bay, FL and Michael of Wichita; daughters, Becky Collins (Randy) and their children, Travis, Stephanie and Elijah Glasper of Wichita and Melissa Pomeroy (Todd) and their children, Jessica Hoopes (Eldon), David, and Ann of Newton, KS. The family would like to thank the staff at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Cancer Center of Kansas and Dr. Dennis F.
