James Russell “Jim” Harris, 92, Retired Air Traffic Controller, died Sunday, September 26, 2021. Rosary will be at 9:30 am; Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, both Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Church of the Magdalen Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Rose Harris; son, Craig Harris; parents, Lucian Wayne and Della Harris. Survived by his son, Bruce R. (Macaela) Harris; daughters, Debra Hilterbran, Sharon (Terry) Lewis, Kallie A. (Mark) Seligh; grandchildren, Jamie (Robert) Baker, Becky (Jose) Vargas, Kristina (Steven) Baez, Erica Alder, Carinne Hild, Anna Hild; and 9 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with: Church of the Magdalen, 12626 E. 21st St. N., Wichita, KS 67206. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.

My father in law Ralph Hamilton was Jim’s best friend since high school. We spent many Sundays after church having brunch @ the Marriott & Piccadilly I miss the laughter of those 4 together & the guys trying to figure out the tip!
