Jan Graff

Jan Graff, 67, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, September 21, 2017 after a valiant struggle with cancer. She was born February 13,1950 in Mesa, Arizona to Lynn A. and June Rose Shumway. She married the love of her life, Dr. Tom Graff on September 3, 1970, in the Mesa Arizona LDS Temple. Stalwart member of the LDS Church, she served in many leadership positions. Graduate of Arizona State University, she taught school and was an office manager for her husband. Jan is survived by her beloved husband and two sons, Adam Graff, MD (Jennifer Graff, MD) and Andrew Graff, DDS as well as her two grandchildren, Cambria Adalynn and Adler Theodore. She is also survived by her father, Lynn A. Shumway; sister, Linda Miller (Dale); and brother, Andy Shumway (Colleen); and sister-in-law, Alta Davidsen, all of Mesa, Arizona as well as many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, June Shumway; brother, David Davidsen; and sister, Judy Lee. Visitation will be held at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 7-9 pm. Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 7011 E 13th Street, Wichita, Kansas at 11:00 on Saturday, October 7, 2017. Burial will be in Mesa, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with The Lords Diner, 520 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67214.
