Jane Mourning

Jane Mourning, beloved Mother, Grandmother, retired Computer Analyst for Boeing, and Friend, died Monday, at the age of 74, February 7, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger William Mourning; brother, Grover Cleveland McLure, III; her parents, Grover, Jr., and Marjorie McLure; and great-grandchild, Vincent Hill. Jane is survived by her daughter, Jody (Travis) Girk of Newton, KS; son, David Matthew (Erica) Mourning of Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Katheryn Dale, Steven Stewart, Poe Mourning, Lilia Mourning; and her great-grandchildren, Tarah Hill, Asher Thomas, Alyza Thomas. A memorial has been established with: Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219. The scheduled visitation is 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Friday, February 18, 2022, at Downing & Lahey Mortuary - West Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Downing and Lahey Mortuary.
