Leiker, Janet Sue, 73, Retired Public Relations Manager, member of the DAR, and LifeVentures board member, died Thursday, May 28, 2015. Visitation with the family from 6-8 P.M., Wednesday, June 3, 2015; Funeral Service will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 4, 2015, both at Downing Lahey East Mortuary. Preceded in death by her father, Doyle “Pete” Tharp. Survived by her husband, Tony Leiker; children, Anthony Theodore “Ted” Leiker (Dolly Salazar) of Friday Harbor, San Juan Island, WA, Lisa Anne Alexander (David) of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sister, Carole McWhorter of San Clemente, CA; mother, Kathleen Leonore Tharp of San Clemente, CA; grandchildren, Codie Marie Leiker, Jacob Anthony Leiker, Casey Elizabeth Leiker, Alexandra Nicole Leiker, Anthony John Alexander, Christian David Alexander; great-grandchildren, Abigail LaRue Vasquez, Savanna Elizabeth Clark, Harrison Emmet Leiker; step-grandson, Jimmy Spain. In lieu of flowers, a memorial in honor of Janet Leiker has been established with LifeVentures, 4407 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67218.
