Janis Kaye Moore, 86, Retired Executive Assistant, died Monday, December 19, 2022. Memorial Service will be at 10:30 am, Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Preceded in death by her parents, Emerine Hawthorne and Charles and Mary Hawthorne; former husband, Ed Moore; aunt, Mary D. Lounsbury. Survived by her daughters, Cathy Krehbiel, Kim (Chris) Sanborn; grandchildren, Cassie (Joe) Goode, Lydia Sanborn; great-grandchildren, Emerie, Griffin, and Edison Goode; bonus daughter, Valerie Maurer-Green; many cousins and friends. Memorials have been established with: Kansas Humane Society 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219; Wichita Animal Shelter, 3303 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.
