Janyce Graham Scott (Putnam), 76, business woman, patriot, died Sunday, March 28, 2021. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 3, 2021, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Ina Graham; first husband, Ray Putnam. Survived by her husband, David Scott; son, Richard (Vicky) Putnam; daughter, Deborah Putnam Kivett; grandchildren, Lance (Mandy) Putnam, Tiffany (Greg) Putnam Smallwood, Rebekah (Aaron) Kivett Ziesch, Andrew Kivett, John Kivett; great grandchild, Scott Smallwood. Janyce and I were childhood friends and in Brownie’s together. Ina, Janyce’s Mother was our Brownie’s leader. Janyce was always a sweet and soft spoken friend. We also had many happy days together in school. Janyce is missed. Brenda Golden
Peggy Brown is the first cousin of Janyce, as she is the daughter of Ina’s youngest sister Aleda. She’s always enjoyed their relationship as have her children enjoyed their times with Janyce’s children, (2nd cousins). So sorry we didn’t hear of Janyce’s death until after the visitation had happened, because Peggy and I would have come. Peggy and her surviving children, Clif, Pam, Clay, Kent, extend their sincere sympathies with Love to all of Janyce’s extended family. We share in celebrating her Life! – Pam
