Jay Johnson

Jay Johnson, 91, lover of family, friend to hundreds, and beloved by all, died Tuesday, December 27, 2016. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Jay was Chief Avionics Engineer at Beech Aircraft. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clydus Johnson and Ethel Smith. Survived by his wife, Annabel Johnson; son, Mark Johnson (DeeDee) of Derby, KS; daughter, Debbie Mullen of Wichita, KS; grandchil-dren, Amanda Thomas (Daniel) of Wichita, Brian Johnson of Derby, Ivy LaClair of Berkeley, CA; great-grandchild, Nicholas Thomas and one on the way. A memorial has been established with New Hope Christian Church, 1400 S George Washington Dr., Wichita, KS 67211.
