Jayne was the ultimate Girl Scout champion. Our Girl Scouting community in Wichita had a super advocate and supporter and we will miss her physical presence but know she is watching and guiding from above. I am thankful for the years that she and George devoted to girls and the Scouting movement in our town. Their generosity was unending and unselfish. Many girls have thrived thanks to the Smith endowments and will hopefully do so in the future. Her service yesterday was a wonderful tribute and was beautifully celebrated. I am a better person for meeting and getting to know her . I shall miss seeing her at our yearly Silver and Gold Ceremony. She added a bit of zip and humor.
