Jean Ann Nicaise, 79, loving wife, mother and grandmother, died Sunday, August 28, 2016. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. Funeral Service will be at 10:30 am, Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at Saint Michael Orthodox Church, Park City, KS. She was a retired insurance underwriter from Willis Corroon. Preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Marian Keeney; brothers, Jack and Jim Keeney; sister, Judy Keeney. Survived by her husband, Walter Nicaise of Goddard, KS; brother, Gerald Keeney of Oregon; half-sister, Karen Pocialik of Minnesota; sons, Gerald “Jerry” Mies, Ronald (Robin) Mies, Charles “Charlie” (Barbara) Mies, Christopher (Regina “Reggie” Randall) Mies all of Wichita, KS; daughter, Mary (Jeff) Durand of Humboldt, KS; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
