Jean Copple

Jean Copple, 96, died March 7, 2024. She was born in Winfield, KS on February 16, 1928. She graduated from Winfield High School in 1945 and began a 62-year career in accounting. Most of that time was spent working in Wichita.Jean is preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Helen Copple; brothers, Lee Copple, Jr., Edward Copple and his wife Marie, and Charles Copple and his wife Jane; brother-in-law, Jay DeMars.She is survived by her sisters, Marcella DeMars, Patricia Pichette and her husband Jerry; and three generations of nieces and nephews.She was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend and will be greatly missed.Graveside Service will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Winfield, KS on March 21, 2024 at 10:30 am. A memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.Services in care of Downing & Lahey East Mortuary.
