Jean Grier

Grier, Jean, 93, a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, died Sunday, February 19, 2012. Memorial service will be 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 22, at Larksfield Auditorium. Jean was a member of First United Methodist Church since 1946. Until the past few years, she was actively involved in the Triad Class and many different committees. She was also an active member of PEO-CI Chapter for many years. All who have known her will miss her loving smile and touch. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Grier, Jr.; a brother, Ellsworth Sturdevant; and a grandchild. Jean is survived by her children, Jim, III (Carolyn), of Wichita, Kathy Clark (Bruce), of Washougal, WA, Chuck (Susie), of Wichita, and Chris (Amanda), of Port Charles, Barbados; brother, Chuck Sturdevant, of Marietta, GA; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
