Jean Rose, 77, Retired from Bank of America, died Friday, December 30, 2022. Memorial Service will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. Jean graduated from Scott City High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from Friends University. Preceded in death by her parents, Fawn William and Dorothy Katherine Strickert Rose; brother, Lewis (Carol) Rose. Survived by her daughter, Leslie (Kirk) McClure of Wichita, KS; son, Verlin Jacobson of Highlands Ranch, CO; grandchild, Jake McClure of Wichita; sister, Elaine (Harley) Mohler of Newton, KS; 3 nieces and 1 nephew. A memorial has been established with: Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - West Chapel.
