Jean Tinterow

Jean (Heller) Tinterow, passed away on April 22, 2018 at her home with her children by her side. Jean was born in Cleveland, OH before moving to Wichita as a young child. There she met her husband of 49 years, Dr. Maurice Tinterow who proceeded her in death. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Marsha Tinterow; her daughter, Lauren, and deceased son-in-law, Sam Lentz; her grandchildren, Chad Tinterow, Aaron Lentz (wife, Michelle), Jeremy Lentz, Adam Lentz, and Saranne Lentz Barker (husband, Andrew). She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Asher, Kingston, and Holland Lentz. Jean was a devoted wife and mother, with a kind spirit who always saw the best in others. She was an active member at Congregation Emanu-El during her life. She will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Congregation Emanu-El. The funeral will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at 10:00 am, at Congregation Emanu-El, 7011 E. Central. Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.
