Jeanette Pierce, 83, died Saturday, June 19, 2021. Memorial Service will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Helen Wages. Survived by her husband, Owen Pierce of Bel Aire; daughter, Susan Pierce; sons, Doug Pierce, both of Wichita, Craig (Peggy) Pierce of Mountain Home, AR; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with: Alzheimer’s Association. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.

I will always smile when I think of Owen and Jeanette Pierce. We bought our second home in Comotara on the cul-de-sac that had the Pierce’s as our neighbors across the street. Our two children, Brian and Lindsay, were pre-schoolers and loved to visit with Owen and Jeanette. I often talked about raising kids with them. Some of their advise I still remember today. They were some of the nicest neighbors any young couple just starting out could want. Please accept our sincere sympathies and know how special Jeanette was to us. Greg and Karen Perkins
Owen–so sorry to hear of Jeanette’s passing (1st cousins). Glenda and I enjoyed so much and cherish that we got to visit with ya’ll shortly back in 2007-2008 (sometime around there) when we came thru there on our way to Denver. Our sympathies to you and all the family. Jerry & Glenda Dortch
