Jerome C. "Chip" Lies, 64, truck driver, died Sunday, May 16, 2021. Rosary will be at 9:30 am, Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 25, 2021, both at Church of the Resurrection Catholic Church. Preceded in death by parents, Leo and Catherine Lies; brothers, Frank, Leon and Bill; Survivors: sister, Mary (Steve) Avila of Wichita, along with numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial has been established with Catholic Charities, 437 N. Topeka St., Wichita, KS 67202. Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.

My condolences to the family of Chip. I recall him from our days as students at St Cecilia Catholic School in Haysville, and when we used to go to the Lies farm for that yummy, fresh whole milk!
