Jerry Lee Scott, son of Ezra LeRoy Scott and “Billie” Lillian Viola (Hughes) Scott began his life’s journey in Beaver, Oklahoma on November 11, 1950. He was the light of Billie and LeRoy’s world. Jerry worked with his dad on the farm and on many construction sites during his teen years. His basic ethics for hard work and determination were formed during those years. He attended Eureka school until his junior year of high school when he was transferred to Turpin. He graduated from Turpin as the valedictorian of the class of 1969. He continued his education in pharmacy school at SWOSU in Weatherford, OK. After graduating from pharmacy school in 1974, he came back to the Turpin area where he worked at and owned several pharmaceutical businesses. He also worked at Southwest Medical Center. It was during this time that he met and married the love of his life, Leta Karen Bollinger. They were married on March 11, 1977. As a result of this union, Jerry gained a bonus son, Shawn Thomas Crawford. Jerry and Karen were also blessed with a second son, Jared Trevor Scott. The Scotts remained in Liberal, KS until April 1991 when Jerry purchased C&R Clinic Pharmacy in Elkhart, KS. He owned and operated the pharmacy until July 2022. Jerry was also involved in the Church of God, Morton County Hospital, and the community of Elkhart. He truly loved people and had a great sense of humor. Jerry began his cancer journey in September 2021. He fought with grace and humility until October 9, 2025, when he went home to Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior.

Charities
The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Jerry Lee Scott 's name.
My sweet little sister found the love of her life.
Rick as the doctor in medical clinic and Jerry side-by-side with his pharmacy was a dream come true. The years together were precious.
My prayers are with all the family left behind until we meet him again in heaven. What a day of rejoicing that will be.
So many fun memories with you at the Colorado land, and growing up in Liberal, and on holidays over the years. Thank you for showing us what a great husband, father, friend, church go-er, and uncle looks like. I vividly remember watching you make the perfect bacon many times (and fried okra) 💛. Enjoy your peaceful time in heaven til we all get there! Love you Uncle Jerry! Haley and Trevor Strawhecker and Family
