  1. Andy, So sorry to hear about your Moms passing. She was a great friend to me as a young person. I know her last years were very hard.

  2. Dave was one of my best friends in high school, college, and thereafter, and Joette and Eddie were like another set of parents to me. They were Uncle Eddie and Auntie Jo. We had many great times. Now they are all together again. My prayers are with Andy and her family for the loss of her mother.

  3. To Andy and the grandkids and loving family, we share in your wonderful memories of your sweet Jo and Eddie and Dave. Wishing you Gods peace, always- Tom and Shelly Dobbins

  4. Joette was my Sunday school teacher in an Adult Ladies class at Metropolitan Baptist. She did an excellent job of sharing her knowledge of the Bible and teaching us how to apply it to our daily lives. She was always asking us to memorize verses, and we werent very co-operative, but one year we each memorized a verse and recited it for her Christmas gift…..she was pleasantly surprised, for sure!
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Andy and her family.

  5. Joette & Eddie were our dearest friends-we met them in 1971 when we moved to Wichita ad that friendship has continued through the years. We have missed Eddie and will miss Joette, but know she is happy now that she is with Eddie again. Andy , our love & prayers are with you and your family. Hutch & Shirley, Arlington, TX

  6. Hi Andy. Im sorry to hear about your mom. How are you? I wish I could have gone to the funeral. Love you. Your old friend, Cathy

  7. Joette and I met in 1980 when I joined the choir at Metropolitan Baptist Church. We became good friends as the years went by, singing together in our ladies triple trio, sharing scriptures and generally just finding things to do together. She was a great spiritual counselor and prayer partner. Eddie became a good friend too. Even after I moved away, we kept in touch. For years they would let me use them as “home base” when I came to visit all my “Wichita friends”. They even came to Dallas for my 50th birthday party! I heard so many stories about Andy, David and your families. She adored Eddie fiercely and loved you all very much. I am so very sorry for your loss, but now she is with Eddie and in the presence of her savior!
