After retiring in 2003, he was asked to drive for First Presbyterian Church’s transportation service and did so until he aged out in 2018. He and Jan loved to travel making several trips to Europe and traveled to all 50 states. He liked snow and water skiing, reading, playing Farkle as well as computer games. 1. Rest John, until you hear at dawn, the low, clear reveille of God. Thank you for your service to this nation. U.S. Air Army, 82nd Airborne Division.

    • Dear Sweet Jack, I’m missing you, but want you to know that Alan is here doing “honey-do’ chores for me. He has been great company in our big home this week. Mike Abercrombie passed away a few weeks after you left, have you run into him?
      I’ll love you always, Jan
