  1. To Carol and family – Please accept Valda’s and my sincere sympathy. I have many fond memories of John but I especially remember his kindness. 3. Marian Teall and Mary Sue Foster express their deepest sympathies to John’s family. This is a time to celebrate John’s life, such as the All-American Award for football earned in that Pennsylvania high school and his distinguished accomplishments including his football record at The University of Kansas. Probably the most significant was marrying Carol. We know that his family and friends will miss him.
