Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
My dad, Gilbert Moser, was an Army/Air Force buddy with John. Dad kept in touch with John. I remember our family visiting yours every now and then. Your mother, Madeline, was my confirmation sponsor. On one occasion, we three girls, Nylas, Nancy, and Susan, played with Mike and Steve on a nearby playground. A few hours later we received a call that one of the boys, (I think that it was Steve), had fallen and broken his arm after we had left. My memory of John was that he seemed to be a quiet man, whose company my dad enjoyed. Over at least the past couple of years, Dad (also 88)and John exchanged Christmas greetings. He was sorry to hear of John’s passing. Please accept our family’s heartfelt sympathy at your loss.
