Harnsberger, John L., 86, retired Wichita State University History Professor, died Tuesday, April 17, 2007. Memorial service 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 8, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Survivors: wife of 60 years, Elizabeth; sister and brother-in-law, Grace and Guillermo Mateo; two nephews and one niece. Memorials may be made to WSU History Department, John L. Rydjord Graduate Award, 1845 Fairmount, Wichita, KS, 67208 and East Heights United Methodist Church, 4407 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS, 67218.
