John M. Jack Richards, Jr.

John M. “Jack” Richards, Jr., 87, businessman, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014, at Larksfield Place. He was born in Harvey, Illinois. Jack was preceded in death by his father, John M. Richards; mother, Margaret Richards, and brother, Thomas. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty; daughters, Susan Richards of Topeka, Mimi Benedick (Robert) of Manhattan, Jinx Richards of Grand Junction, CO, and son, Matt Richards (Tamara) of Edmond, OK; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Jack was loved by all. He was a friend to everyone while living life to its fullest and will be deeply missed.
