Reichenberger, Jordan, 20, cherished son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, returned home on August 26, 2008 after a courageous 20-year struggle with renal failure. Private family service will be held, Friday, August 29, Central Christian Church, 2900 N. Rock Rd. Jordan was preceded in death by his beloved stepfather, Steven ONeill. He is survived by his mother, Rhonda ONeill and stepfather, Michael Little; father, William Reichenberger, and friend, Michelle Wisner; sisters, Megan and Kathryn Reichenberger of Wichita, Maggie ONeill of the home; nephew, Ethan Dunwoody of Wichita; grandparents, Julie and Robert Chaney and Donna Reichenberger, all of Wichita; numerous aunts, uncles, friends, and best friend, Nick Rhiley. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff members of Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice Inpatient Unit. Their compassionate care enabled us to help Jordan enter eternal life surrounded by love and joy. Memorial established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice Inpatient Unit, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202. Downing Lahey Mortuary West.

My husband, Joeshared the dialysis time with Jordan at the Maize Dialysis Center and for awhile sat in a nearby chair. We were saddened to read of his death and just wanted to say Jordan was always a bright spot at dialysis. God bless you all.
Dear Rhonda, you and your family have my deepest sympathy on the recent passing of Jordan. He was so fortunate to have you and your family and loved ones there through the difficult times of his illness. Your courage through it all and steadfastness I will never forget. Rhonda, I just heard the news about Jordan. He will always be one of my favorite students. His smile could light up the day. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Rhonda,Megan, and family – I just heard the news about Jordan. I am deeply saddened and so sorry for all of you. As you know, Jordan had a way of touching lives in a profound way. When I think of him I remember his smile and ‘touch’ of orneriness! You couldn’t help but love him! Megan, please stop by to see me sometime. Would love to catch up. I know you’ll get through this tough time as you have such a close and loving family. I just wish you didn’t have to go through something like this, though. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
