Jordon Leroy Tenbrink, 78, passed away peacefully at his home on December 12, 2025.
Memorial Service will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary.
Jordon spent most of his life in Wichita, Kansas, where he worked in maintenance and as a general contractor. For a brief time, Jordon lived in California where he met Linda, who would become his wife of 50 years. In later years, Linda lovingly cared for Jordon following a stroke, remaining by his side at home.
Jordon was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time working on the family farm in Alma, Kansas. Jordon held a deep personal faith, reassuring others by saying, “I’m going to heaven!”
Jordon was preceded in death by his parents, Art and Elizabeth “Betty;” and siblings Art, Mike, Bonnie, and Tom.
He is survived by his wife Linda; brothers, Patrick, Anthony (Mary), and Louis (Laurie) Tenbrink. Jordon also has several nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established with: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.

Love you bro, I’ll miss you! We certainly had some good times growing up together. I’ll always remember you. Rest in peace in God’s everlasting love.
Jordan will be greatly missed. He always made me feel welcome and loved. No matter the years or miles between us, our bond as cousins was strong. Rest well in our Father’s arms.
I remember when Jordan and Linda came out to the farm in Streeter and Doug and Jordan went pheasant hunting. Rest in peace Jordan!🙏🏻❤️
