Jordon Thomas Binyon, 28, Business Development Manager for Kelly Services, died Wednesday, September 12, 2018. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm, Monday, September 17, 2018, at Hillside Christian Church. Preceded in death by his grandmother, Hilda Binyon; grandfather Kernie Binyon; grandmother, Jerry Lea Leu. Survived by mother, Angela Binyon; father, Tom Binyon; stepmother, Brenda Wiechman; and sisters, Lexie Binyon and Caitie Wiechman, all of Wichita; uncle, Craig (Marcy) Leu; cousins, Parker Leu, Paxton Leu, all of West Des Moines, IA; aunt, Sandra (Brian) Finchum of Alexandra, VA; cousin, Caitlin (Curtis) Cornelius of Killeen, TX; aunts, Marcia Brandon, Lori Tullis, Diane Shepard and Christa Tullis; uncles, David Dunbar, Fred Tullis, John Tullis, all of Joplin; grandmothers, L. Jerrine Namisnak of Wichita and Mary Tullis of Joplin, as well as many other 1st and 2nd cousins in Joplin; grandfather, Kenneth Leu of Harper. Jordon graduated from Andover Central High School in 2008, and from Pittsburg State University with a BS in Business Management in 2012. A memorial has been established with Wounded Warrior, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516. Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.

  3. We are so very sorry for your loss! Jordan was a very good friend to our son especially in their Jr. High years before they went to separate high schools. We have a lot of cherished memories of the good times they had. Jordon is experiencing the beauty of his heavenly home and we thank our precious Savior for making a way for us to be united together with him again through His mercy and grace. My His indescribable peace and love cover you in this difficult time.

  4. May our hearts be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as we celebrate a life filled with a desire to always make us smile, and a need to help anyone. Jordan made everyone around him a better person and gave us all an example to emulate when thinking about how to treat each other. May he rest in peace and continue to give us a feeling of joy and peace when he is in our thoughts.
