Rest Joseph, until you hear at dawn, the low, clear reveille of God. Thank you for your service to this nation.
Jill, Jimmy, and the entire Diekemper family: I wanted to offer my deepest sympathies for your loss. Joe was a fine man that I was privileged enough to get to know over the last 20 plus years. More than once he managed to contain the competitive nature of Jimmy and I on the golf course. He always made me feel like a part of his extended family and that I will truly miss. God bless everyone and know Joe is in a better place. Matt & Michelle Allen

My thoughts are with the Diekemper family today as I reflect back in the day as they always welcomed me into their home. Pat with her infectious smile, Jean, Jill , Joe and Julie running about with their crazy lives, and then there was big Joe, laid back , taking Saturday afternoons naps (which I never understood until now) and overall watching his well oiled machine of a family come together. We can all look up to Joe as an example to follow due to his dedication to God, family and country ,especially in Vietnam. Today I salute you Joe, one Veteran to another. Until we all meet again! Blessings
