Fusco, Joseph, 87, Joseph Fusco Construction Company, owner, died Wednesday, January 7, 2009. Joe was active as a Cubmaster and Scoutmaster of troop 519; treasurer of District 22 School Board; Sunday School teacher, President of the church council and active member at First Salem United Church of Christ. Visitation with the family will be 2:00 ~ 4:00 P.M., Sunday, January 11, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Service 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 12, First Salem United Church of Christ. Interment will follow at 2:30 P.M., at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery, Winfield, KS. Preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors: wife, Erma M. (Allen) Fusco; sons, Joseph, Jr. and Donald E. (Leslie Kennedy) both of Wichita and Robert A. (Mary) of Seattle, WA; daughter, Judith (Nick) Kledzik of Cupertino, CA; grandchildren, Brett Fusco, Jason Fusco, Audrey Fusco, Asher Fusco, Sophie Fusco, Natalie Kledzik, Kira Kledzik and Tia Kledzik. Memorials have been established with First Salem United Church of Christ, 952 S. Hillside, Wichita, KS, 67211, Victory in the Valley, 3755 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS, 67218 and Hospice Care of Kansas, 808 S. Hillside, Wichita, KS, 67211.
Visitation with the family will be 2:00 ~ 4:00 P.M., Sunday, January 11, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Graveside service 2:30 P.M. Monday, January 12 at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery in Winfield.
