Joseph (Joe) Addison Wilson, Jr.

Joseph (Joe) Addison Wilson was born on November 24, 1940, in Sterling, Colorado to Joseph Alexander and Goldie Lavonne (Cowdry) Wilson. He began his career at Beech Aircraft in 1963, and married Frances McMillen on June 25, 1966. He retired from Beech (Raytheon) Aircraft in 2003. Joe passed away peacefully on December 11, 2022, at St. Frances Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Goldie Wilson, sister Goldie Marlene Petty, a sister Thedora who died at birth, and brother Melvin Finez Wilson. Joe is survived by his wife Frances, children Joseph “Rick” (Michelle) Wilson and Christina (Scott) Gottschall, and grandchildren Noah Gottschall and Ian and Abigail Wilson. The funeral is in care of Downing & Lahey West. The viewing is Friday December 16th from 4-6pm at Downing & Lahey and the services will be held at Antioch Christian Church at 10:30. Joe became very close to Jesus in his final few years and would hope that you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior as well.
